Weddings and Parties

We specialise in live entertainment packed full of Funk, Disco, Soul, Pop and Motown classics, guaranteed to get the floor boogying! We are available for hire at weddings, parties, bar mitzvahs, corporate events and promotions. We have our own lighting and PA system which is included in our quotes.

Abnormally Funky are able to double up as Acustica, to provide a lighter start to your evening before the funk stuff kicks in!

Abnormally Funky Price Guide

Prices to hire Abnormally Funky start as listed above. This would be for a local gig (London, within the M25) and would include approximately 2 hours music (with a break), either in two one-hour sets, or three 45-minute sets. We are able to play CD’s in between sets to keep the dance floor going.

Should you wish to have a lighter start to your evening, acoustic group Acústica can be booked to play a 30 minute-1 hour set at a reduced price. Please see below for more information.

We are able to play for longer times at additional cost. The band is able to travel any distance for a gig, and this is reflected in our price. In certain situations we may need to charge for overnight accommodation.

Acústica – A Lighter Alternative

To offer an alternative sound for all our clients needs we can also perform a vast selection of songs from our Jazz, Latin and Soul repertoire as acoustic band Acústica.

Comprising of Vocals, Piano / Keys, Double Bass and Drums, Acústica fit perfectly into any musical situation from jazz clubs, festivals and other live music venues to music in restaurants / bars. Acústica can play at weddings, parties and other private functions. Whether you require background music or something to keep the crowd on the dance floor (or a combination of both), Acústica can tailor its set to suit any event.

Acústica can be hired alongside Abnormally Funky for a short set 30 minute-1 hour set at a reduced price to offer a lighter start to your evening.

Acústica Price Guide

Prices to hire Acústica start as listed above. This would be for a local gig (London, within the M25) and would cover up to 2 hours of live music with break(s). CDs would be played in the breaks if required through the band’s vocal PA (which is also covered in the price).

Bookings for more than 2 hours of live music would involve an additional charge to be negotiated depending on specific requirements.

The band is able to travel any distance for a gig, but this would also affect our price. In certain situations we may need to charge enough to cover overnight accommodation.
